The Power of Canine Enrichment Feeding Toys

Imagine turning mealtime into an adventure! Canine enrichment feeding toys (CEFT) are designed to tap into a dog’s natural foraging instincts, transforming the mundane act of eating into a fun-filled challenge. Not only do they keep our pets entertained, but they also promote mental engagement, which is vital for a dog's overall happiness and health!

Unleashing the Power of Training: Making Smarter Dogs, One Trick at a Time!

Can old dogs learn new habits? Absolutely! As someone who has been on a journey with my canine best friend since 2014, I’ve witnessed firsthand how training transforms not only behaviors but also the very essence of what it means to be a smarter dog. Whether you're starting with a puppy or an older companion like my dog Fleming, the excitement of training is boundless and worth every minute spent together.

Curious about how we practice tricks? Join us as practice new tricks and make new habits!

Hi. Hello. Wufs Up?!

About Us

First things first, meet Fleming M., our super smart, aging puppy. You might call him an adult, but he’s never too old to learn new tricks. While he’s not a Scottish Terrier or a West Highland, he’s a proud Cairn Terrier—a breed that earned its name by hunting small vermin in the cairns, or stacked rocks, of the Scottish countryside.

When our family decided to shop(a)dopt our first dog as adults, we knew we wanted a breed that was apartment-friendly, hardy, intelligent, and friendly. Fleming M. fit the bill perfectly. Named after Ian Fleming, he’s been a fantastic pet partner—expressive, patient, and full of personality. Together, we’ve learned so much, proving that old dogs (and humans!) can indeed learn new tricks.

We’re passionate pet enthusiasts with a household that includes one Cairn Terrier and two cats. We believe in treating all our animals with the respect they deserve as independent creatures. Over the years, working in pet medicine, I learned that having a plan of action with consistent execution builds trust between pets and their owners. While animals don’t always behave the same way every time, intentional and focused interactions help us spot warning signs sooner or even gain a cuddle buddy.

As owners, we strive to maintain boundaries but aren’t immune to puppy dog eyes. We’re not strict about obedience but enjoy teaching tricks for fun, trust, and engagement. Our goal is to build new habits and share them here, inspiring progress for both old dogs and their humans.

Whether you’re a first-time dog owner or a seasoned pet enthusiast, we’re here to share insights, tips, and stories to help you create a happy, healthy life with your furry best friend. Let’s learn and grow together!
